Tad Carpenter is one of my absolute favorite illustrators. His prints are so imaginative and his style is incredibly unique. Although a lot of his work is concert posters, I really love his amazing art prints!
I think the thing I love most about Tad's work is the nostalgia I feel when I look at it. Although it represents nothing specific from my childhood, I just receive a sense of wonderment when I see his work. It makes me feel like I'm a kid again — when everything was happy suns, smiling animals, and silly creatures.

As a frequent user (ok – maybe an abuser) of the em dash, I read the first one quickly and thought it was referring to the fact that the person I share my home with is Tad Carpenter. And I thought "wow, that item is really for a small market – maybe like one person or so."
