It's Thanksgiving Day in Canada today. Every second Monday in October, our friends to the north celebrate a bountiful harvest season...
It's celebrated earlier in the year than the U.S. Thanksgiving because Canada is further north. The harvest comes a little earlier than in the U.S.
Above is a collection of Fall and Thanksgiving decor from HGTV Canada. Traditional fall colors of golds, reds and browns are one approach to decorating for the holiday, but these examples show some lighter takes on the season, too.

Yes! I was invited to my first Canadian Thanksgiving dinner this past Saturday and I am very thankful for that.
I miss my CAnadian work buddies, they were the best.
Thanks for highlighting this occasion.
Thanksgiving was particularly cold this year (-8 degrees, Yikes!) but so fun to make pie from pumpkins we grew ourselves!
Happy Thanksgiving Canadians!!!
Miss Canadian Thanksgiving!
None of the Canadians here gets to celebrate it; in any case, I couldn't find, much less fit, a turkey in my tiny Swiss oven.
We *did* get an invite for some pumpkin pie today though!
