Last year we posted CB2's Sleepy Hollow Storage Bed — and it was a big hit. It's since been discontinued and replaced by the Harmonica Storage Bed...

A mixture of wood veneer and white lacquer, the platform bed has sliding doors to hide half of the under-bed space (the other half remains open). The Harmonica Storage Bed is only available in Queen Size (65" x 86" x 11.75") and is priced at $899.

wow i want this, damn that price tag!
Aha! This is what I am looking for: simple, sturdy, storage. I gotta be honest though, I'm not crazy about the white doors, but you could fix it up with some neat decals from IKEA or something. I also wish there wasn't so much room around the edges of the bed; I can just see myself tripping and cutting my leg in the middle of the night in a sleepy toilet run, the blood streaming down my leg and my bleary-eyed atempt to quell the bleeding so it doesn't get on my sheets and probably cleaning it with the wrong thing and finally giving up and falling asleep anyway with my leg wrapped in an old T-shirt I don't think I like anymore with my leg sticking off the side of the bed. But maybe for the nimble-footed it might be perfect.
great storage for shoes
okay seriously whats with all these stores and their 'espresso' or 'chocolate' finish?????? Matches nothing in my home...would be great otherwise
"great storage for shoes"
Assuming you still have feet after a couple midnight walks to the bathroom...
I am still looking for a king-sized storage bed...so far, the only one I've found is from West Elm and at $1,500 is a little pricier than it's worth. I like Ikea's Mandal, but again, it doesn't come in king.
Oh well. If having a super-awesome, roomy mattress means having to suck it up with a lame bed frame for a few years, I can live with it.
Tar and Violets - the Modulicious from BluDot comes in a King size...it is more expensive than the West Elm, but much better quality IMO.
These kind of platforms and frames that extend out beyond the mattress are beautiful to look at, but I can never stop thinking about stubbed toes and gashed shins!
The most painful pain in the whole wide world.
I bought that duvet cover and sheets, awesome!
The bed looks great too :)
I'm not sure this is good feng shue.
here's a great bed with storage. It has drawers so it hides your crap :-)

@Bridget... time to find a new home? Or perhaps a coffee-loving toddler who can run amuck spilling and smearing things as she goes?
