Crate & Barrel: Harmony Media Stand ($1499)

Unless your home is completely futuristic/techno pop, trying to blend your entertainment media to fit the rest of your furniture and decor is always a challenge. Well, we just flipped through the new Crate&Barrel catalog, and saw that they now offer a potential solution. The Harmony Media Stand is crafted with traditional Chinese joinery, which utilises no nails or screws. It's made from solid walnut and is able to accomodate an extra large flatscreen TV. The lattice screens slide to reveal divided shelves for electronics. We love that you can keep them closed and still be able to use the remote (and because there's no glass, there's one less thing to keep clean!) There are also three deep drawers (perfect for CDs or DVDs) that have hand-cast iron pulls. We think the Harmony Media Stand lives up to its name, bringing the pefect blend of elegance and functionality to any decor.
