Harper's Contrasting Colorful Nursery

My Room

Name: Harper
Location: Fremantle, Western Australia

I got the inspiration for Harper's nursery from another room featured on Apartment Therapy. I saw the dark grey walls and colorful accents and I was sold.

Harper's room is very small, so painting the walls such a dark color was a little risky, but the white furniture and bright accessories lift the room and give it such a wonderful atmosphere. Children respond to bright colors, so I love the idea of using lots of bright colors in my baby's room. The dark walls not only make those colors pop, they calm the room so she can still sleep easily. Harper and I love hanging out in her beautiful nursery.

Thanks, Bec! Readers, see more of Bec at her blog - it's beautiful in here.
