Hat Boxes as a Catch-All

Hat Boxes as a Catch-All

For many years, we've used hat boxes as an alternative to the junk drawer. They're inexpensive, pretty and they look good stacked on a dresser. When it comes time to clean them out, we dump them on a table and sort the trash from the treasures. We love these vintage tomato-red boxes from P.O.S.H. ($15 each). They'd be a great way to bring a shot of color into a space while also providing small storage for jewelry in a bedroom, dishes in a kitchen or even spare cords in an office. More Round Boxes... • Clear Hat Box from the Container Store, $24.99 • Fryken Box with Lid (Set of 3) from IKEA, $9.99
