Is your current Facebook feed filled with friends and acquaintances complaining about the updated Facebook home page? Probably. Only good that has come out of it are these hilarious someecards designs. One of the biggest grievances is with the intrusive homepage ticker on the right, cluttering your Facebook page like a CNBC finance show. But if you're a Chrome user you can zap that sucker with a free extension and regain some breathing room....
Direct your mouse over the the Google Chrome webstore and download the free extension, Facebook News Ticker Remover. You'll have to restart your browser for the Facebook removal to take, but afterward not only will the news ticker be gone from your front page, but also in the chat sidebar (some users are noting it doesn't remove the ticker from the game page yet).

Shaw's Original Fir...
My only complaint at this time is that a post from a friend that I would have expected to show up in my "recent stories" stream never did!
Those someecards are awesome.
"Hating the New Facebook? Hate It a Little Less..."
Use Google Plus! LOL.
I deleted my facebook over a year ago. I'm not looking back. I use Google+ and Twitter some, but email still remains the most relevant way for me to be connected to the people I actually care about.
Good to know about Chrome. I didn't notice that.
First Netflix, then Facebook, & then Netflix again... Being a gadget & techie geek girl - I'm starting to realize that as much as I LOVE to discover new things...I'm not as thrilled with change to my staples like Netflix & FB. I'm not a FB addict like some but I like to share occastionally & poke around on down time when I'm not reading. I hate the drag time & getting on there only to find the layout completely different.
I thought FB prided itself on a clean & minimal design as opposed to myspace. I would have never guessed that was their original vision judging by recent glances. I have a strong feeling that I will be checking out Google+ or calling off my prolonged slight love with facebook. If it wasn't such a great way to keep in touch (especially with pictures) with friends & family all over the world I would most likely not hesitate in pulling the plug!
P.s the "BLUE TABS" that fb uses to tag what's very important & must be seen...who decideds this?? Of course, I'm being sarcastic, but seriously!!?? Like a FB god is deciding whether I should see "Ms. X's" most recent demand from her farm game or my friend's most recent etsy discovery - kinda silly!!
