A bohemian or hippie chic bedroom is one that tells not just one story, but many: many countries travelled (real or imagined); many textures and patterns represented; many thrift or antique stores scavenged. Sure, sometimes we get a little help from Anthropologie, Etsy or Urban Outfitters. But the effect is the same. A little romantic, a little vintage, and a lot of whimsy.

I love love love number 8!!! My bedroom is gonna be like this!
Great..some more than others,,but I like 1., 2.,3., 6., 11. and 12 the most :-)
Can't imagine real bohemians can be bothered with arranging their pillows just-so... when stuff gets too stiff and fusty it kind of fails to be bohemian after a while...
I like most of these. They look comfortable and are colorful.
my roommate needs to see these - totally her style!
I am completely in love with the bedroom in picture 2....so relaxing and love how the two small dressers are used as nightstands. Extra storage is never a bad thing!
i agree with frenchcowgrrl. these have a couple bohemian elements, but in a very minimal or controlled way. these rooms seem a little too symmetrical. i did a round-up/ break-down of bohemian style here: http://theyellowcottage.wordpress.com/2012/02/29/bohemian-style-part-1/
I'm drawn to regular bohemian style, but find these "haute" examples really exciting! I LOVE these! Easy-going without being messy. PLEASE, more, more, more!
I'm with @vickysoy - the colors in #8 blow me away (that's the celery-green with rose, and the stars & black branches).
And though I rarely go for wallpaper, I think it works perfectly in #5, with that amazing rustic ceiling.
anyone have a source for the throw in photo 5, or something similar? i'm in L-O-V-E!
oh haha...i think it's a dress now that I look at it again. which gave me a great idea to find a floral dress i love and make it into a small throw or maybe even pillowcases. guess i answered my own question =P
I feel like a self-serving nerd by posting this here, but if you're interested in these bedrooms, you might like this blog post:

I don't love any of these but I do love the boho-thrift store, electric look because there is so much interest from colours, patterns and textures it's impossible to get bored with it or look outdated like comtemporary designs.
Thanks CALAMITYAYNE I love the tin headboard
