Inspiration is all around! Designer Kathleen Walsh, of LA's own Walteria Living, created these fun set of "Hecho en Los Angeles" dinner plates. The design motif was inspired by papel picado, which translates to "perforated paper", a tradition from Mexico...

The scenes depicted are some obvious and obscure landmarks in Los Angeles, such as the magnolia trees on Doheny, the La Brea tar pits, "Christmukkah" on Fairfax, and Olvera Street. Set of four porcelain plates for $160. Available locally at Show on Vermont.
