Yesterday's Plastic Packaging post got us thinking about other ways to reuse disposable containers. Molds! No, not the furry green kind that you find in the back of the fridge. We mean molds that you can use to cast plaster into fun and useful objects like this hedgehog pencil holder.
This hedgehog was made using a 2 liter soda bottle, an empty yogurt container, some caulk to hold the pieces of the mold together, and some plaster. Oh yeah, and a little bit of extra clay for a nose. Pencil holders must have noses, after all.
