"Hejfina is a boutique that carries essentials for a lifestyle centered around modern function and form." When we first stepped into hejfina, we knew that it was not a store easily categorized by its things. Rather, the space serves its lifestyle boutique function by playing host to the design community, not just existing as a shopping stop.
When Heiji Choy, the owner and creator of hejfina, moved to Chicago, she knew it was the perfect city (full of "energy, style and appreciation for the arts") for creating her boutique, which is inspired by those she experienced in Paris and Tokyo.

Continuing its quest to bring us modern function and form (in all its forms), hejfina features books on art and architecture that inspire the designs found throughout the store: Taschen, Phaidon, Rizzoli, Princeton Architectural Press, DAP, Assouline, Prestel and Powerhouse Books.
