Q: I need help designing my 3-year old son's new room! I'm designing it around this Angela Adams' rug, which is called "scoot" (I think). The colors are pale blue, robin's egg blue, and chocolate brown. I'm having the hardest time finding cute boys' accessories, bed linens, artwork, etc to go with this. Oh yeah, and he LOVES cars, so I would like to incorporate some cars, although not too over the top with the theme. Any ideas?

Nomade Express Slee...
test comment (sorry!)
I think overly patterned bedding may clash with the rug. Maybe go for a basic quilted slate blue or tan bedding: http://www.roomandboard.com/rnb/product/detail.do?productGroup=19595&catalog=room&category=rm_kids&subcategory=kid_bedd_coll
And use this car pillow to add punch:

I think these are really cute and have been eyeing them for my son's (also a car lover) room:

The Mod Spa collection from Javis Davis would be a good starting point for bedding. It has your colors and a clean, modern look.

Oh sorry! I missed the part about it being for a 3 year old! Javis Davis does kid's bedding too...
Have you looked at Restoration Hardware's Baby and Child line? They have a lot of nice looking stuff in that color palette.

Hi there, I know it might be an obvious place to start... but DwellStudio.com has a great line called "Transportation" - It has your color scheme with added green, orange and gray. Perfect to add a little more fun to the mix! There are several items including a throw pillow, a tabletop bookshelf, bath accessories like shower curtains and area rugs - also backpacks, art aprons and lunch boxes as well. Recently Dwell updated their lines for Target.com expanding on the toddler room - they have a collection there named "Traffic" which is a spin off of the original collection as mentioned before. You could easily mix the two along with adding an Alphabet poster/print and a Counting poster/print as ART. Check etsy.com for a million options. ALSO, if you are looking for a child size table, for a desk or activity table, the LACK side table from Ikea.com is now only 7.99 and comes in white, pale blue and a dark chocolate wood grain. Using white accessories in your room will really stand out - especially if you are doing accent paint! GOOD luck! :)

NotNeutral also has some really great transportation accessories (wall decals and pillows) and a nice brown/blue "links" reversible quilt -- best price here.
numsi has some animal wall art which would work well color-wise- maybe one of the kudus, the pale blue giraffe or one of the buffalo's...
