Q: I recently saw this desk on a facebook blog totally unrelated to design... We are getting ready for a home office makeover and in a word, this piece is definitely "us". Can someone help identify it, please? Thank you!

Commercial Flour Sa...
It's not the same, but CB2 has one remarkably similar:

Its from Structube - a Canadian company. I've been eying it myself for sometime. And its actually quite affordable.
@SMITCH: Wow thanks for the link. At $500 it is affordable for how nice it looks.
Desks should be eliminated, because they're single function. I work with a MacBook Air at the diner table or couch,
@Jose A: I should caution that while white lacquered furniture looks amazing, it doesn't put up to wear and tear at all, which is why I've resisted getting this for my office space as my current desk is a high traffic area I'm not certain the lacquer will stand up to.
@ IFreek Its nice that you have a MacBook Air and can Troll from the comfort of your couch, but I don't have a portable computer and still need to use a desk for my regular computer... or for writing on, or for storing office supplies... Plus, the desk shown here is pretty nice and could be used as a dining table for two, a buffet, side board, entry way table or a multitude of other things. Very few things are single function anymore, all it takes is something called imagination. Try it out sometime eh! :)
Anyone know where the chair is from?
Duh...from the same place.
It looks like a Victor desk from Conran shop:

they've got it in white in the shops. I've seen it, it's beautiful!
Hey there,
I cannot tell by the picture but the original (hence non knock off) design of this desk is by designer and self-styled 'interior architect' Robert Lazzeroni and it's called the Victor Desk. It is so beautiful and available in 100 or so colors with various wood bases. The only place that sells it is the Conran Shop in NYC. You can also buy it from them online.

So impressed by Smitch - an answer in four minutes is pretty awesome.
What KEIRA said!!
@IFREEK - you might want to try working from the dinner table. Your MacBook would get greasy at the diner. :-P
I like having a desk, especially one with sleek drawers like the one above. I also like handwritten cards. So call me old fashioned.
Just a reminder that at the moment, the exchange rate for the Canadian dollar (loonie) is very close to $US but not exactly 1 to 1, and it does fluctuate, in case Betsy decides to spring for this sleek piece. Always good to get all the info for cross-border transactions.
Unfortunately, their website reads that they do not deliver outside Canada.
OMG - the Conran Shop Victor desk is £3795 ... a far way from $499 CAN !!!!! wonder why - they look same but different colour ...
I have a white lacquered makeup table and it held up well. i was going to get the stash desk from Bludot, but thank God i saw this. I am going to get this instead. it's perfect.
Thank you all for your input! I knew I'd have an answer in less than three hours!
I have to snicker a little at the good ol' AT banter; we have a MBP and a smaller HP tablet and our iMac.
Agreed portability is handy, but nothing beats sitting at your desk with your big huge monitor, with all your stuff at the ready for doing work in Photoshop or even just surfin the net sans staring at 11 inches of screen real estate till your eyes start to burn (maybe it's just my age).
We're going to be in Canada later this summer -- perhaps with this beauty strapped to the roof on the way home!
Thank you!
Love the desk. Its so simple and classic which makes it even more attractive.
The Conran one is the real deal. The one on the Canadian site is a knock-off, or should I say "inspired by".
Imitation is the finest form of flattery and affordable! :)
I know which desk this is...its Structube Adel desk...
