Q: I found this bathroom image via Bright Bazaar's Pinterest board. I've been digging around for hours trying to find the original source for the image so I can find the source for that awesome sink, but to no avail:
At first I thought it might be a vintage find, but if you look closely at the side, there appears to be a contemporary logo in an oval, but I cannot make out the brand.
Does anyone know where I can find this sink? It will be PERFECT for my bathroom renovation!

White Enamel Flatwa...
I was at this place on Thursday for the first time and they have a ton of architectural salvage (three floors!!!) I'm not sure if they'll ship but I saw tons of sinks similar to this on the third floor: http://www.baileyspencer.com/. I'm not affiliated...just wishing I had an old home to fill up with some of their amazing pieces!
If you have a Habitat ReStore near you, you can find a ton of cool vintage sinks like this donated from renovation projects. They always have tons of cool sinks. ReStore is run on donations and the money funds Habitat for Humanity. You may not find that exact sink, but there may be something else similarly awesome.
Here's the directory by state:

The brand is KOHLER
It's a Kohler form their commercial products line. Here is a link:
http://www.us.kohler.com/us/catalog/productDetails.jsp?brandId=432098&skuId=345601&categoryId=788714&productId=418116&hash=id%3Dfilters%26startIndex%3D20%26scrollTop%3D0
It lists for about 1500 but it looks like you might be able to get for around 1000-1200.
It is a beautiful sink, but can I add a word of caution? I took a vintage sink similar to this one out of my bathroom when I renovated, because I found the two faucets problematic: if you want warm water, you have to fill the sink - otherwise you get hot water at one end or cold water at the other.
I second what Miss Ruth mentioned about the faucets. My apartment are gorgeous vintage bathrooms, and while the claw foot tubs are quite lovely, one of the bathrooms has a sink similar to the one pictured and it's kind of a pain in the ass.
If you will look closely in the photo, the faucets aren't hot and cold they are basically two separate two handled faucets.

These sinks are designed to allow more than one person to wash up at the same time. You can get them up to six feet long with three faucets.
I wasn't the one who asked the original question, but I have to say that AT readers are awesome. Good job! :) And wow, that's a beautiful but expensive sink.
Has anyone actually used one of these sinks before? I just bought my first place, but I was living in a 100 year old house that was converted into 5 suites when sinks with two sepearte taps were in style. As charming as they look, having to wash your face and hands and even as simple as brushing your teeth in either scalding hot water or freezing cold water is a daily cumbersome task. Wasting time and water to fill a sink with enough water to do any task is the exact reason why they make sinks with one faucet. Make sure you're buying a sink that the faucets will do both hot and cold if it has double faucets. A sink like this will require a lot of extra plumming to install.
These taps are "mixers" -- that is, they mix the hot and cold water. Those are not separate hot and cold taps.
There are two taps there because it is essentially a double sink, albeit in trench form.
We just installed one of these sinks! As others have pointed out, it's a kohler. I love it... We get lots of compliments. .... When I first saw one a few years ago at a local restaurant ( the 6 foot version with 3 faucets), I was hooked. I spent more time in the bathroom checking out the sink that night than I did at the table eating my meal!
I've used several of these and love them. They have this sink at my children's school so that multiple kids (they have a 3-faucet one) can wash up at the same time. They are charming and useful. I have a friend who painted the outside of hers a cool lime green and put it in a bathroom with light turquoise walls. Wish I could afford one for my 4 kids!
Ginger here - I am the original poster of this question, and I have to say, you guys are awesome. Thanks so much for both finding the original source of the image, and for sourcing the sink! I appreciate the tips for trying to find them at salvage shops and the testimonials of those who have them!
It looks to me like the faucets are both "mixers" - I did grow up with a sink that had hot on one side and cold on the other, and it wasn't that bad, but I think this will work better for our needs. It'll also look great with a cast iron clawfoot tub, too!
Now to track down a good deal on one....THANKS again!
