Just the other day, a friend was giving us a super hard time about our lack of preparedness. Seriously. We live in the Bay Area (i.e., earthquake central) and we don't even own a first aid kit. We're embarrassed, but we're working on it.
Although their products are still a bit overpriced for our soon-to-be budget first aid kit, Help Remedies still impresses us.
First of all, we like their packaging. It's simple and smart and made of 100% recycled paper pulp. It's even compostable.
Second, their products are no nonsense. Take their acetaminophen, for example: It includes zero coatings and dyes. "If you enjoy coatings and dyes, you will have to eat them separately," reads their website.
Help Remedies products are currently only available online, but they claim to be working on a big distribution deal. We'll be on the lookout.
