We have been on the lookout for an attractive storage bench for our bedroom, and were delighted to see this new option at Ikea. We like that is has split storage space because otherwise we have a tendency to forget about things buried at the bottom, but wish the bench was offered in additional colors...
The bench is 55"W x 16"D x 23"H and made of solid pine. For $199, we might be tempted if IKEA starts selling it in white.

I like that, I would paint it, get cuter knobs and possibly put casters on the bottom so I could wheel it over to the living room for a coffee table.
I like it. I'd give it a light sanding and paint it as well. Or even sand the hell out of it and re-stain it. May have to give this a look next time I'm at ikea.

this is crazy!!! i bought that bench in november 2009 in white!!! now i can't find it on the website at all ! but i like the idea of casters !
