We've always been curious to why Apple never released an official docking station for their Macbook Pro line of laptops, but there have been short glimpses of hope (say like, Toshiba's universal wireless dock). Overall, though, it's been a pretty dry space in the world of Apple-centric docking stations... until now.
Henge Docks offers specific units for each of Apple's current Macbook sizes (13/15/17-inchers) and has an elegant all-white stand that matches any iPod/iPhone docks you already have on hand. The vertical mount connects to every single port on the side of your Macbook, allowing for an external monitor and other USB devices, while still allowing optical drive access.
Still not sure? Well, there's always video:
Currently, only the 13-inch Macbook Pro dock is available for $59.95, but the other sizes are available for pre-order if you're wiling to wait a little big longer.

good idea. i use a twelve south book arc for my pre-unibody macbook pro, and i know how difficult it can be to dock/undock and setup as a desktop.
I'll be springing for one of these soon. My Macbook Pro usually sits flat on my small desk while hooked to my monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers, and this would free up some space.
This is great. Bookends was always a good idea but they gouged the hell out of you price wise (almost 200 dollars) for what was basically a few pass through on a piece of aluminum. Way to much money for something that is obsolete after your current laptop. I might get one of these.
