Henri's Cozy, Playful Room

My Room

Name: Henri
Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada

We wanted a room that would fit our son's need - a space to play, a space to read, a space to craft or play Legos and a cozy space to sleep. The style is neutral, with a touch of vintage and handmade craft (by me or by my son) which creates a unique room for a unique boy.

In order to save space (the room is quite small), we built floating bookshelves and a matching floating box (Henri does have a lot of books!). We also securely attached his handmade tent on his bed. He sleeps in it every night and I'm pretty sure that it's his favorite thing in his room!
The color on the wall is a neutral light grey. That, and the wooden furnitures, keeps the room clear. A light blue table, the yellow floating box and a small red chest of drawers (not seen in the pictures) are added to give a playful vibe to the room.

Source List:

Art on the wall: some handmade (by Henri), some vintage and one made by Bellebrute
Tent: handmade (pictures here)
House: vintage (pictures here)
Felt bunting: handmade (tutorial here)
Furnitures: IKEA and handmade
