It's that time of year when our editors disperse to the myriad design shows that happen all over the country and the world, checking out what's new and what's next in the home space. Coming up a week from today is the Architectural Digest Design Show, right here in New York—and we have a sneak peek at some of the exhibitors.

The AD Design Show is divided into four sections:
MADE: The juried MADE section is an excellent resource for handcrafted design, offering limited-edition or one-of- a-kind furnishings, accessories, and fine art pieces. With more than 150 exhibitors—from local and emerging artisans to international studios—MADE celebrates independent design. All pieces are available for purchase.
FURNISH: The latest classic and contemporary furniture designs for indoors and out, lighting, rugs and decorative accessories.
REFRESH: One of the largest collections of kitchen, bath, luxury appliances, and building products from more than 80 companies.
THE SHOPS: Cash and carry boutique retailers offering décor, gifts, tabletop, and home accessories.
There will also be twelve seminars led by top design experts. On Friday, our very own Maxwell Ryan is moderating a panel, "Telling Stories With Design," featuring David Rockwell and Sandra de Ovando. Other panelists include Tim Gunn, Genevieve Gorder, Mary McDonald, Lela Rose, and Athena Calderone, and more.
