Here's another float in our parade of wonderful DIY play kitchens. This one was made by Johnette for her daughter and nephew from a variety of components and cost her less than $100. Find more details on how she did it and photos below the jump.
Johnette: This uses one IKEA shelf unit and then parts from a hardware store and a home office, like the CD 'burners'. It cost less than $100 to make and took a few nights over two weeks to get it done. The jigsaw is a key component to the hole for the sink and the one for the oven. I used screws to put everything together so I could disassemble it when we move. It is also two pieces and very light, so I can move it around the house easily. My daughter and nephew are loving this kitchen.
