Because of this crippling phobia, I have never really considered going into an Hermès--until I saw this photo of the latest flagship store on the Rive Gauche, that is.
This new Hermès store was built in a swimming pool from 1935! Pretty cool, huh? The wooden structures by Denis Montel of Rene Dumas Architecture Interieure serve to highlight the company's home furnishings with clothes and leather goods lining the pool area.
I think it may be time to get over my fear.
