I really love the idea of honeycomb shapes in the home; they're a subtle natural motif that is such a dynamic element. I like them as a pattern on textiles, but I also love when furniture pieces feature or are in the shape of a hexagon; it's an unexpected element that can add a lot of interest in an interior (or exterior!) space. Here are some new and old honeycomb and hexagon shapes we've spotted:
Top Row:
1) Atom Silver on Blue Linen Pillow Cover $50
2) Pair of 70s Geometric Orange and Brown String Art $40
3) Tetrahedral Molecules Painting on Recycled/Vintage Wood $12
4) A2 Hexagon/Coffee Table
5) Tom Dixon's Step Rug
Bottom Row:
6) West Elm Aluminum Hexagon Side Table $150
7) West Elm Honeycomb Napkins set of 4 $12
8) Whisper Mobile Azurite Blue Cubes $160
9) Incorporated NY Hex Table
10) Wood Honeycomb Candle Holders set of 6 $68

Great post! I too have noticed the popularity of Geometry lately. To the point that I based my latest hand made card series on geometric shapes with fun happy colors! Check out the Vaxkaka design http://www.freedom24.org/zcards/2011/03/15/vaxkaka/
