After staring at the Washington, D.C., metro's trademark hexagonal terra-cotta floor tiles for many miserable minutes, day after month after year, I am no longer a fan of hexagons, or of anything else that reminds me of having to wait for delayed trains.
Less angular? But there are more of them per shape so shouldn't that be more angular or not as sharp? Perhaps I am being obtuse about this, but it is not a reflex response.
