HGTV Gets Social Network - Not to be outdone by Flickr, MySpace or YouTube, HGTV has just announced plans to build their own social networking website within their existing site. It will include forums, "rate my room" pages, and the ability to upload your own images to the site. HGTV does some great things, but social networking? We shall see... (Thanks, Hana! Via RedHerring)

For the crowd concerned about design eye candy, here's Curbly, Central Roost, Decor Next Door and 30 Elm is about to launch. Even the house and home categories at Stylehive. The space is already getting crowded. But for eye candy, I like Flickr myself :)
I still think of HGTV as full of a ton of bad tacky design about 90% of the time. Doesn't appeal to me at all.
Since Maxwell appears on a few HGTV shows, I wondering whether he'll link AT to that?
