It makes sense that cats are able to take care of their scratching needs in the absence of a human-made scratching post, usually in the form of scratching the bark off of a tree. With that in mind, Hicat created a cat post that most closely mimics a tree trunk, and makes for quite a design commitment to boot.

The custom configurations include short and long poles, different color fiber finishes, cubby holes at various heights and velcro bands with corresponding ball toys.

Right now they're only shipping within the UK, but wider distribution is in the works.
