Cute, but they wouldn't stack (at least without risk of chipping), so they would take up a lot of space (assuming you have more than one). Unless you hang them by hooks.
Very cute. I'm thinking of these as more of a 'special' mug. One per child. I'm thinking unless you have an army of children the non-stacking side of things wouldn't be too much of an issue. My choice is the owl.

They are super cute however I ordered all of these and wound up having to return them. They aren't made very well and unfortunately your drinks seeps up into the animals making them nearly impossible to clean! I would soak and wash them and then as they dry tea and cocoa remnants would drip out from under the cuteness. So disappointing.

I grew up with pumpkin mugs with frogs in the middle. LOVED them. I had them at my house and a few actually survived the fire. Not in good enough shape to ever actually use again, but they're in one piece at least. Though, now I have no idea what I'm actually going to do with them...
Bennington Pottery in Vt has been making these types of mugs for more than 50 years. The originals were frogs that had a hollow underneath them, which filled with air, causing a little bubble to come out at the nose, just like a real frog in a pond. They have made other types of animals over the years but the frog is the best seller.
