Yeah, that just draws your eye directly to it.
I'm all for curtains, plus they keep the heat in when it's cold outside.
The previous AT thread ended with a comment by someone in the air conditioning industry who claims that putting something in front of the unit could cause a fire.
It seems odd to me, but I thought I'd mention it...
