Acrylic furniture not only adds an unmistakably modern feel to any space, it is a great solution for smaller rooms as its transparency takes up little visual space. However, some acrylic furniture can cost a pretty penny. Here are some high and low options for this minimalist design.

I have the peekaboo media console from CB2 and I love it! It works great as a coffee table as well
Any idea where those mirrors are from? Great focal point!
the mirrors are CB2. They remind me of mirrors people use for blind spot driveways.
We have had the peekaboo coffee table for 2 years and love it. It's PERFECT if you have kids. They can't hurt it or themselves. Do be aware, though, that it scratches easily. So if you are looking for a clear, clean table, this might not be the best choice. We don't mind the swirls, we think it adds character and tells our guests they are welcome to go without a coaster.
I was hoping that the $250 coffee table was the "high" and that there would be a really inexpensive "low". Too bad the other option is $1,995!
Thank you so much for this post!! I was really hoping to find an affordable option for this exact table. I was already aware that they price would be somewhere around $800 at some retailers, so this is great :) I don't mind paying a bit more for a great piece that gives me more visual space in a slender row home.
I just checked about the scratches...
it looks like they could be easily removed as you would from an aquarium:

Hope that helps!
And here are the mirrors!

My friend has the peekaboo coffee table in his place. I think its priced well for the look and quality. He stacks art books under the table which looks great, give some color and you still have a complete usable surface. Also, great for smaller spaces its one less solid structure. And it shows off a beautiful rug. As pointed out a stylish solution is you have young children.
Similar mirrors with a frame instead of a mount can be found here - http://www.tenebras.bigcartel.com/product/18-convex-mirror
Is that an ikea lamp? The base looks familiar, but not the shade. Anybody?
The picture are from the CB2 catalog

I have the CB2 nesting tables and they make an awesome coffee table for a tiny living room and become instant mini TV trays which is cool. They are slightly cheaper than the full-size coffee table ($200).
Does anyone know where the small black site table is from?
Does anyone have any idea what color paint hat might be? Thanks!
