I really liked the Pottery barn mirror for over my fireplace, but had to choose something else when I saw it was 5'3" in diameter! It's almost too big to be useful in most places.

They have some cheaper alternatives at Target too. The Gold Sunburst is especially cool, says me:

These mirrors are actually all knockoffs of a Thomas Pheasant for Baker Furniture piece called the Constellation. It is far more beautiful than the Pottery Barn - in person, the finish on the metal parts of the Pottery Barn is a little cheap and grungy-looking - but sadly costs several thousand dollars. I've coveted the Baker version for years and was excited to see the Pottery Barn one - until I managed to see it in person (one turned up at the outlet near me), when the aforementioned finish issues left me disappointed.

I should also add that of course the general shape - the "sunburst" mirror, is a classic, and has been around forever. If you're not looking specifically for the smaller mirror disks on the arms there are even more options - here's a nice roundup:

I remember seeing a picture once (on this site?) of someone who had one of these mirrors on her kitchen wall above the sink, in a blank spot between the upper cabinets. It looked fantastic.

I feel like it's either West Elm or CB2 that has a $45 version.

I have the West Elm one (actually, have 2) & really like it... the wire 'arms' can all be bent at differing angles away from the wall/center spoke, which gives it a nice 3D feel and the mirrors catch the light well (not the worn/ antiqued effect seen on some). Have had them for several years & they've held up well... and the price is great! :)

I found this branch mirror at Homesense (Homegoods in the US) for $40 recently. Score!
