It's not easy to find a lot of inexpensive chaise options. They're typically upholstered, which makes things pricey, and obviously fall somewhere between an armchair and a sofa, neither of which are usually cheap. But for something that should be both accent furniture and deliciously comfy, it may be worth it …

Nomade Express Slee...
thanks for listening to my request! hehe
that West elm looks kinda nice..different..like the clean lines...
The one from Wisteria and the one from Restoration Hardware are the same piece of furniture with different paint jobs!
wow. is "lounge" misspelled every single time?
it's ok. i love longe-ing too. :)
oh, and the links and captions are kind of messed up. the first overstock pic isn't there and the pic with the overstock caption is the horchow one.
I just visited my daughter and loved her new chaise, which I now see is from Crate and Barrel. Great spot for snuggling and reading to the kids.
Would love to find a chaise that is the correct length to serve as a twin bed. Any ideas where to source one without going custom>
@sbucha004 It's not supposed to be "lounge." It's supposed to be "longue." "Chaise longue" would be French for "long chair." If you're going to be a spelling-Nazi, be right.
The first one is gorgeous.
The only spelling mistake is that it says "chaise longues" instead of "chaises longues."
@prticipntobsrvr: ayup. Apparently the commenter corrections on this very point on the last "chaise longues" post were ignored. Surprise? :)
Hmm, Webster's says that "chaise longues" is an acceptable English plural for "chaise longue."
It's just those darn Frenchies messing us up.
I wish I had room in my apartment for a long chaise.
We have a Mitchell Gold one that is no longer in production in our bedroom. It seemed decadent, but I absolutely love it. It is my favorite place to relax in our house, and I like to hide away there with a book and a glass of wine.
Not a fan of the fauteill-on-steroids look. Would have liked to see at least one example of a elegant shape recalling the lines of an Art Nouveau chaise longue.
@sshutterbug
Is it just the finish or is the wisteria slightly more elaborate in the leg carving? And I think the wisteria also doesn't have a seam on the corners of the cushion.... And the dimensions they give on the sites differ by a whole inch for the width!!!!
... I assume they are the same, too.
The Overstock chaise should be back up - I fixed the link.
And yes, @Cassis is right, "chaise longues" is the appropriate plural in English!
The Oviedo is speaking to me right now...
Looks like a Mies, Le Corbusier or Breuer.
