After living in our recent loft space, our records seem to be dustier than ever and we've been on the lookout for a way to give them back their original shine without high overhead costs. We needed more than the standard record brush, so we turned to the pros and found this great tutorial to make your own inexpensive set up...

Creator Jay Amble tells us this design can be built for less than $50 and will remove at least as much grunge as the expensive VPI record cleaners, which we're totally excited about. VPI machines run between $500 and $2000 and although we love our records, for that high of price, we feel they should at least be buying us dinner before hand. We'll gladly take the diy option any day of the week!
