Saks Fifth Avenue (yes, the one on Fifth Avenue) is synonymous with Christmas. This holiday season, the store (and it's famous window displays) is adding a high-tech edge.

Saks Fifth Avenue and Microsoft have teamed up to create several in-store Windows Lounges for shoppers flocking to it's flagship store. They're styled to the nines, as you'd expect from Saks, and fitted with PC laptops running Windows 7 as well as plenty of Microsoft experts on hand to answer your most pressing software problems.

The endorsement from the long-heralded beacon of style is breath of fresh air for the PC-faithful who always claimed that Macs aren't the only stylish machine.

In addition, the famous Saks Fifth Avenue holiday window displays are getting a tech assist. This year’s windows will feature more than 20 video monitors provided by Microsoft and powered by Windows 7 to help animate scenes from a childrens' book and display Twitter holiday wishes that are tweeted by passerby by including the hashtag #holidaywindows. (Although you can see Mac-heads are using the public hashtag to display their Mac love already)
