An architectural feature like the arched window in the above photo often sells a new place. Once you've moved in, here's one idea for highlighting a feature - install a sleek homage to it:
In this example from Better Homes and Gardens, the shelves don't compete with the gently curving window because they are of a much simpler style and are obviously added on. They do, however, highlight the beauty of the window's shape by subtly taking on that shape themselves. It helps that they're white on a white wall, so you're just dealing with texture here, not overwhelming form.
