Lava lamps are coming back?! Oh boy.
Man, I saw the lava lamps and my gut reaction is "NOPE NEVER." But the more I think about it, the more I kind of love them. The gold one with black lava an transparent liquid? I think I actually love it, against my own feelings on lava lamps in general. Weird.
I really like those table lamps. They seem kind of modern and kind of retro. :)
I live in UK and all things pictured look like stuff in my local stores (and I live in the countryside) so I can barely see any trend forecasting here
bubusu, I live in the UK too. Don't forget that styles, home items and availability is different here then in the US/North America and that AT's audience is largely from NA.
Mathmos do some cool lighting, not just lavalamps but lamps in general: http://www.mathmos.com/interior-lights.html
I understand, I'm not disappointed with AT, but with Home - UK trade show.
There are some nice items, unfortunately I've seen them for some time now. I've hoped for some new trends for 2013
