Hovering over the Highline, the building's design is responding to existing building code and making the most of its small footprint, air rights and location in the West Chelsea Arts District. These are some of the best architectural renderings we've seen! It's nice to see new development that is taking risks — the Highline has inspired a lot of interesting architecture, including the Standard Hotel.

Beautiful. But kind of looks like an airport tower.
I so couldn't live there - way too much glass.
It appears from the impressive renderings that this could be a spectacular place to live. I don't know of many NYC buildings that sit on park boundaries, especially an elevated one.
My god, is there any privacy??

The Highline is absolutely beautiful. But I wouldn't want to live near it. Throngs of people stroll it everyday, and have no qualms about peeking into nearby windows. So unless you're an exhibitionist, you don't want to live anywhere near the Highline.
Interesting but frankly it doesn't look like it would age well. It reminds me a lot of some early 70's architecture which looked hip and futuristic when originally constructed but then looked terribly dated when the future actually arrived.
