Some of the coolest people I met while travelling were in Milwaukee. I wore wore the opposing team's tshirt at the ballpark and the hometown fans STILL offered to share their brats and beer.
Back in the 80s, each address could get one of their neighborhood's posters for free. I've had East Side poster since then. Still love it. (Keep meaning to add the Northpoint poster. Didn't know they were still available, so maybe I'll do that now.)
These are on still display in so many places throughout the city. A lot of companies have them up in their lobbies/restaurants/bars. It was really a well-done campaign. Gave everyone a nice way to show their pride in their neighborhoods.

I always wanted to buy one when I lived in Milwaukee! I might have to get one now, although my specific neighborhood isn't there.
We used these posters as lanterns (translucent mountings onto vellum) for our wedding reception tables. It was really nice to have our friends and family (mine are from NY) sit at the "Washington Heights" or "Jackson Park" table... gave them a little flavor of Milwaukee. I love the deco feel to them too.
