Passover and Easter: There's An App for That

With Passover in full swing and Easter right around the corner, the next week is sure to require more attention than most. Whether watching your dietary intake to observe the laws of Passover or if you are just looking to get into the Easter spirit, there is an app for that.

Passover
Passover, which started last night, is a week long holiday celebrating the freeing of the Jews from slavery in Egypt. For most, the dietary restrictions imposed by the holiday can become challenging. To assist in this matter, an iPhone application called Passover Food Street was developed to help you cook up some great Kosher for Passover dishes.

If you are looking for ingredients or cooking just isn't your thing, the OU Passover app is what you are looking for. This iOS app indexes all of the OU certified products and makes them easily accessible through the click of a button.

Easter
While dietary restrictions are not a concern for those celebrating Easter, there are still quite a few holiday app options. First up on our rundown is Angry Birds Seasons. There isn't really anything we can tell you that you already don't know about this. Available for both Android and iOS, this is a must have for holidays all year long.

If launching birds at pigs isn't your thing, try Easter Basket Maker. This app allows your to design and fill a virtual easter basket from the palm of your hand. While not as much fun as the basket coming your way on Sunday, this will help you build even more excitement for this weekend.
