Holiday Decor at Blair House

The Washington Post

You didn't love the White House holiday decor we showed earlier this week. How do you feel about the holiday decor across the street in Blair House (the President's guest house)? The State Department invited six shelter magazines to decorate Blair House for the holidays.

Traditional Home magazine asked Virginia designer Barry Dixon to decorate the Lee Dining Room. Martha Stewart Living editors dressed up the Lee Drawing Room with ornaments based on the stylized birds from the 18th-century green Chinese wallpaper and hung them on an archway of gilded branches.
