Hot chocolate. That's the first thing that comes to mind when the cold starts to set in, the snow fluffs down and the holidays jump at me from every corner of the stores. With that in mind, I was starting to really want one, and to avoid guzzling down too much sugar, I figured I would distract myself by looking at inspirations for a hot chocolate playdate for my kids. This is when I stumbled upon This Nest Is Best's party post. The idea works for kids, grownups or a combination of both.
I love the inclusion of marshmallow and cinnamon bowls, the labels (taken from a free printable at Hostess with the Mostess) are so festive, yet cartoonish enough for a playdate, and the addition of coffee in the picture makes it a playdate for the parents too. So now that the distraction was quick lived, I need my hot chocolate, too bad for the sugar intake I was trying to avoid.
