...but, one that is for vacationers. It is located in Taiwan and from the link, it's part of a resort.
Could you imagine lounging on the bowed sofas, watching the flat screen on the kitty-ear shelf? Even for just a holiday weekend? If so, check it all out right here.

Nomade Express Slee...
eeeeeeeeeeeeee...!
No.
Wow, that's so messed up and hilarious! I think I'd love a weekend there, though. Why not?
Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland in a way.
Oh wow...LOL...I figured it meant a room. I think I could imagine staying there if it was me and some of the girls having a trip - but I doubt many guys would feel too comfy.
I need chocolate. Or beer. That's SOOOO (icky) pink!!
Flat out silly...but then, I could see parents taking their little girls...IF there was a theme park involved.
I just threw up a little
It's sickeningly sweet looking...and thats Not a good thing!
I could see little girls everywhere getting one look at the outside of that house and passing out from sheer excitement.
other than that?
um. no.
My eyes just 'sploded a little.
atrocious.
Maybe for a theme park (like Toon Town at Disney World), but for an actual house... erm, no. It's atrocious to look at! I feel bad for the people living in the other houses on that street. A daily eyesore and it would MAJORLY decrease the value of the other homes.
Hello Krazy!
For a Hello Kitty hotel, it's very tastefully done. For a Hello Kitty hotel.
The lil 5 y.o. girl in me jus got really really excited and then the 25 y.o. women kicked in :)
But I could see having a lil kids party there or a very obnoxiously pink theme baby shower
Even in a resort - That's some serious Ick-Factor.
I agree with taritac. It'd be a nice place for a little girl's birthday or something. They could have a dressed-up tea party...
Are those cabinets in the armrests of the sofa? That's interesting.
Oh that's funny! Everyone over there is practically in love with Hello Kitty... Anyone ever see pictures from the Hello Kitty weddings? It's a little scary.
But I do have to say... if you take away the logos it's not horrible. It's better than overstuffed sofas and recliners or that 80's/90's post modernism crap or fruit and ivy wallpaper and pine country furniture.
well good news is it is a vacation house (part of a village of vacation houses...)
apparently the pink one on the website is the "English style romantic/elegant" suite.
Underneath that, we have the "French style happy country-living" hello-kitty house.
I dunno, for a vacation house I think i would get a kick out of it for a weekend.
Oh man. That trellis on the front of the house is killer though.
killer=awesome
A bit off topic well not really because its pink too
Has anyone seen the Barbie Flagship store in Shanghai which is over the top-
Have you been to the Barbie Store in Shanghai?
http://www.designboom.com/weblog/cat/9/view/6213/slade-architecture-barbie-flagship-store-shanghai.html
No worse than going to Disneyland, or one of those Sesame Street-theme resorts. When you're a parent, you have to compromise a bit on your design sense, or risk having your kids grow up to write books about how mean you were.
I could only stay in that room while also eating a big poof of cotton candy.
I have friends who need to vacation here.
I guess you've guys have never been to hello kitty hell, a blog maintained by a man who is married to a hello kitty fanatic. Considering some of the stuff the post, this is really subdued.
You know, it is definitely not as bad as it could be. The interior carries the theme in a very stylish way.
If this were an actual residential house? I'd request the eye-bleach. But I completely get the vacation home draw for it.
Where else would Hello Kitty Brides go to honeymoon?
http://www.kittyhell.com/2008/08/20/hello-kitty-wedding-video/
Everyone's home should be their castle - or - uh, litterbox?
BLECH!!!
Sorry, hairball.
j'adore!
At first glance, I thought this was the new set for the tv news program "To Catch A Predator"
Aww, it's cute! I wouldn't want to live there full time, but it's no crazier than Jonathan Adler's Barbie house.
This, my friends, is why neighborhoods should have architectural codes.
I would be somewhat horrified if this was someone's actual house, but as a vacation house it is kind of cool. I wouldn't want to go there, but it is certainly very well done for what it is.
I think it's charming and beautiful. What little girl wouldn't love to take her parents there for a fabulous weekend!?
I really don't care what anyone says, that is so frickin' awesome.
Yikes! I like hello kitty in small doses but this is just ridiculous
Now that's too much, it kinda of makes me think of cake :)
to be honest, there isn't really that much hello kitty itself in the place. it's mostly just done up in pink. i expected hello kitty lamp shades, phones, cups, etc. they sell EVERYTHING hello kitty themed here in the US so i thought it'd be more like hello kitty detailed. it is tastefully pink. of course my nieces would LOVE to visit there...but that's it. just a visit is all i could do.
luckily that's exactly what this hotel is designed for.
Heh, I've seen plenty of homes posted here, that are more theme parks, trophy showoffs, or anal-retentive obsessive than this, than places for real people to live in - and those homes got raves.
I fortunately live accross the globe, and am no aquainted with Hello Kitty. But I have met lots of grown ups who are more facinated by a fur ball, than by a truly enchanting 2 year old who walks on two, and talks.
someone tell mariah carey quick! or tera patrick as they both love hello kitty...
FYI - vh1 rock wives for the second one, nothing else, i swear!
My adult self is disgusted. My 8 year old self, however, is squealing with delight.
Awful, it reminds me in a bad way of Minnie Mouse's house at Disney Land. Anyone?
I think it is pretty clever. Nice use of all the cuteness of Hello Kitty. This would be perfect for a girlie getaway. It is not that bad!
