Living in a small space can present problems with gardening and keeping plants inside. Some plants can be pretty large and take up much needed space. We've rounded up small space plant options that we found at a very familiar source.
Urban Outfitters introduced their new line of plants and planters called Home Grown. We were pleasantly surprised at what we found. Each of these would make great additions to any small home and we're pleased that the prices are reasonable too, all fall between $6.00 and $28.00.

I think it is worth reiterating a comment someone made on the post about UO furniture yesterday which is that the owner of the company is a right wing conservative who donates large amounts of money to those causes.
In this day and age it is more important than ever to live (and spend) your values. If you believe in a different agenda than a company's CEO then it may be best to look elsewhere when you shop. Every penny (just like votes) ads up and those profits might go to a cause that is directly opposed to the life you live - however stylish it may be.
Inspiration is free though!
word to the comment above.
also, the quality of their furniture is terrible--- as well as their clothes, but those you are only suppose to wear for a season and toss.
Re: plants- I know the big ones take up space, but too many little bitty ones can just look like clutter. And just a single big one can look like a monster in your house. A nice solution might be to pot a few small ones in a larger pot like a strawberry pot. (But that's a personal preference.)
And I second the above two commentors. Amen for buying your values.
i agree with the comments above, and would like to add that anthropologie is owned by urban outfitters, so buying your values must extend to thinking about finding alternatives to anthropologie as well as urban outfitters.
Damn it. Thank you I will adjust my shopping accordingly. More time at IKEA then.
Not to rain on your parade, but there were recent reports that the Kamprad family (Ikea owners) are racist and sexist. Plus they lie about their products.
I think it's easier to care for larger plants. Small pots dry out quickly, while large pots stay moist longer. (I also realize that not everyone has room for larger plants.)
Good to note (about the ownership of UO and Anth), as I just bought something there this week. (only spent $30, lol).
had to check to make sure the echo chamber was functioning properly... it is! awesome.
Etsy's terrariums and planters are way cooler, anyway!
Can it really be called a round-up when Urban already rounded up all these products themselves in their newsletter not two days ago?
