Home in the Sky: BMW's Billion Dollar Boeing

In honor of this month's theme of travel and getaways, we've dredged up these photos from 2007 of what could be the closest thing to a flying house: BMW DesignWorks created this concept for a Boeing 787 Dreamliner that features a master bedroom and bath, living and dining areas, a cocktail bar...not to mention a garage underneath to park a few BMWs. Take a look at some of the details in this swanky plane...

Featuring hardwood floor throughout and multi-levels for various areas of relaxation. The glass railings and partitions are used to promote an open-space living feel and avoid claustrophobia. The first level also features what looks like a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom.

The cocktail bar is the main focal point of the living/dining/and work area. And just in case you get panicky about how your BMW is doing in the cargo hold, there's a glass window on the floor that lets you view your car.

Master bedroom, located in the back of the plane.
