Angela Adams' rugs are so bold, graphic and colorful that they need a laid-back home to really shine in without overwhelming the space. It turns out that such a home is quite an appealing one all on its own.
We find the chair and the bookends in the photo above particularly covetable, as well as the little desk space they occupy.

Thank you so much for this post! I have been at a complete loss for where to buy really cute rugs, Ikea was the only place I thought might have a more modern graphic style and they had NOTHING good. There are so many choices on the website, I love it!!
Love it!
I also like the little shelf of ceramic tiles as a faux "backsplash" what a creative idea for those of us who don't want to actually "tile" in our rented apartments.
I like that chair in the top pic - anyone know where it's from?
I had no idea she designed more than rugs - Great Post!
I have two Angela Adams rugs, and I absolutely love them. The textures, colors, and patterns are wonderful and imaginative. Plus, they are made by Rugmark, a nonprofit organization in India that supports building schools and ending child labor.
meatavious - that's the Prouve Standard Chair

Thanks Emilie - I am in love with those chairs too!
I really like the faux backsplash look as well and would like to do that in my apartment, but I can't seem to find the tiles for sale anywhere on line. anyone have a source?
I'm pretty sure that they are tiles designed by Angela Adams for Ann Sacks. All pretty yummy.
I knew that they are angela adams for ann sacks, but I just can't find an online retailer.
They're sold on the ann sacks website:

actually they don't seem to be sold on the website. they have the information, but they say to contact a local store for specific pricing and there are no local ann sacks stores where I am. what I am looking for is a online store where I can buy a few of the tiles...
