Our friends over at Metropolitan Home put together a great High Low comparison of two home offices. The savings from one to the other is well over $10,000, but we haven't met anyone lately who's willing to shill out that much cash, just to decorate their office (all bets are off when it comes to electronics though). After the jump, we did our best to round up coordinating items that retail for 85% less than the ones seen above...
You can read all the details about this home office
over at Metropolitan Home. We tried our best to find coordinating pieces at prices that weren't quite so painful on the pocketbook. Although a few pieces differ slightly, we think they would bring the same feel to the space and that most would be willing to sacrifice just a little when it comes to design to save several thousand dollars!
Our biggest compromise came when we were scouting office chairs. Although we love the metal one used in the photos above, we just can't get behind a chair that doesn't look comfortable enough to spend at least an hour in without back pain. See what we found below!
Desk: Parsons Desk for $329 , from West Elm
