What happens when two old friends from South Carolina — one a designer, the other a millworker — decide to collaborate? For Julie Purpura and Jonathan Lancaster, you get these cool solid wood state-shaped side and coffee tables.
Julie, the designer half of the duo, moved to Chicago in 2006 to jumpstart her interior design career. Jonathan, the millworker, returned to his home state of South Carolina a few years ago, where he has been creating custom furniture ever since. Long distance, the two got together and decided to create a line of tables based on state shapes. And 900 Blok was born.
Tables, which start at $200, are made from solid wood and are available in 16 colors. For more details, visit the 900 Blok website.
