We love a good home hint! Little Tricks and shortcuts that can save us time, money, trouble, or effort are worth their weight in gold. Here is one of our favorite resources for said treasure--conveniently accessible with the click of a mouse!

One of our favorite sections in a ReadyMade magazine is their Handy Tricks and Hints section. You can read some of their best hints on their website if you don't have a subscription, just choose a category and prepare for some breakthrough pointers!
Bathroom Hints
"Buff a thin layer of shaving cream onto the bathroom mirror to prevent it from steaming up while you bathe. The glass won't look any different, but it will stay fog-free."
Smart Uses For Simple Things
"To spiff up leather furniture, clear unsightly scuff marks by gently rubbing the eraser end of a pencil over the affected area. It's a toxin- and fume-free way to make imperfections disappear."
Kitchen Tricks
"Clean built-up gunk out of vases, thermoses, and other hard-to-scrub vessels with denture-cleaning tablets-simply fill them with water, let a tablet dissolve in each, and watch the fizz scour."
Gardening Guidelines
"Fungi taking the fun out of gardening? Turns out milk kills common garden fungi like powdery mildew, and also helps control black spot. Mix one part skim milk (it's less stinky than whole) to nine parts water. Spritz affected areas every five to seven days for three cycles."
