What happens when you wire a beer can to the side of your favorite stock pot? You create the perfect vessel for dipping homemade beeswax candles!

There are some DIY projects that require a specific step-by-step tutorial and then there are others that are there just to inspire and create the desire to brave the craft on your own. In the case of these candles, it's the latter. Who doesn't want to dip your own candles after checking out this photo from our friends over at Craftzine?

To create this fun project at home you'll need a double boiler, beeswax, wicks and an area to allow them to dry. Although this setup as it's currently seen directly over the stove might appear a little crude it's actually a rather smart way to eliminate any mess. If you happen to have a fire pit or know someone who does, this project works quite well outside where there's more air movement to dry the candles after being dipped.
