Great artwork really enhances the design of a home and defines its personality. I love designs with a few standout art pieces and also spaces filled with an abundant collection of art. Art is so personal to each individual and speaks volumes about its owner.
My favorite type of artwork is photography. I love high fashion photography and this year my goal is to take many more pictures and have them professionally framed. I want to create many artwork vignettes around my home. What type of artwork do you display in your home?

I'm especially fond of thrift store originals -- I have several watercolors and acrylics that are actually quite nice works of local artists that got donated to thrift shops and sold for under $10! I also buy directly from local artists. The few reproductions we have are either gifts or were specially chosen to accent the decor where they hang. Art is wonderful!
That main art piece in Steven Arroyo's Think Tank, (pic 4) is just killer! Any info on the artist?
i am an artist so i have my art around my home. it is in every room and is displayed on every wall. each of my friends is an artist as well, so i have some of their pieces mixed in with mine. i treat each wall as a gallery and use it to enhance the space and feeling in each room.
I like all of the photos here because I enjoy going into a home where a lot of varied art is displayed. Lots to look at. A small painting is what I usually bring back from travels as a souvenir, often purchased directly from the artist.
