Whether you homeschool or not, these little desk setups can be inspiring. They have everything your little one needs for a busy day of learning. If your children go to school outside of the home, these can be great resources for setting up a desk for doing homework after school:
What these all have in common are that they carve out a little space for quiet and concentration with all of the essentials within arm's reach. Other than that - they can vary widely stylistically from a glass-top table to an old-fashioned wooden school desk. What's your favorite?

I really like the dual study desks surrounded by storage. Almost like having your own study carrel at the library! Nice home school room with several different learning centers and plenty of storage.
I'll have to vote the same, since it's my schoolroom! My husband is a carpenter, so built-in perks. We love the storage, also each desk has a light installed under the overhead cabinet, and it set up for computer use in the future (outlets placed under each desk). On the opposite wall is a huge white board. He also built the table with benches cluttered in the foreground - great for letting the kids make a mess and not worry about it! The large rug is fun for group times (we have 4 kids). Happy home teaching everyone!!
With our first due in October we are a ways from needing a study nook for our child. However, these are great ideas to put in my tool box and bring out for later use. They are all about function with a jolt of fun/style. Thanks for the inspiration.
Oh, how I wish we had room for the built-in double desk! But in our little home, built in 1952, doesn't have room for those lovely built-ins. We're learning how to live in small spaces.
I also love that glass table top. Our desk is a discarded antique school desk that was going out in the trash. I feel so lucky that it was passed on to us. We love it and it is just too darn cute with all of its dents and dings. I wonder how many children have learned at this desk through the years. :)
Thanks for featuring our little learning corner. We currently making changes for the new school year. Fun!
Our home is now on the market! Tiptoeapple schoolhouse!
