Honeyshine: curiosity required
Owners Adam Braun and Daisy Mitchell bring a balance of care free inspiration, a solid sense of humor, and intuitive design sense to Honeyshine. Their design approach is apparent in the show rooms full of items displayed in a way that blurs the line between presentation and product. When asked, Braun confirmed that nearly everything in the shop is for sale. You can even buy their decor style in the form of design services.
One thing is certain, curiosity is encouraged while visiting the store. Shopping at Honeyshine inspires the inner scavenger hunter. Hidden amidst the jewelry, solid scents for men, flasks, furniture, hand made glassware, luminaries, stationary, toys for children, plants, wallets, and art by local artists were a platoon of plastic army figures, doll heads, beautiful objects, hand written signs, and plants. The diversity of objects that can be discovered at Honeyshine are all tied together by Braun and Mitchell's love of clean, modern lines with a few rough edges and a healthy sense of humor.
